As a woman of faith I believe there is nothing more precious than the peace and joy of Gods inclusion and presence at the miraculous moment of childbirth.

She was definitely a God sent angel and helped me tremendously with my anxiety and labor fear. She kept me moving and worked hard during my dilation and early/active labor. She was very knowledgable and knew exactly what I needed and when ( position changes, hot gel packs for my shivers, back massaging during extreme pains etc.) It would have been a very traumatic experience if not for her, as she never left my side during my 24 hour long labor journey. “When me and my husband found out we were expecting, I knew I wanted a home birth and that it would require me to have support near home. Mish came at the recommendation of family after a switch in care and soothed all of my worries with the birthing process. We met a couple of times before the big day, and she had some wonderful recommendations for my nausea and ensured familiarity with my birth plan and midwifery. I started labor at 1 am, and was relieved to see her responsiveness at the strange hour. Mish stayed in contact with me until I was ready for her to come coach me through the labor that morning. She managed to be there with all natural supportive techniques and stayed calm, calling the midwifery with me when they seemed to be running late for my babies arrival. Thankfully, when delivery neared , Mish was quick to encourage me through the delivery with the midwives on call. My little one came out at home with her Dad, me, and Mish. She helped ensure us my daughters clear airways and our Safety until the midwives could come finish the placenta delivery and assess my condition.
